The ideal candidate for this position will be based in the UK, have at least five years of experience in sales or related roles; however, candidates with less experience may be considered if they can demonstrate exceptional skills or proficiency in relevant areas. Essential Functions
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and customer inquiries from European customers.
- Identify and establish new business opportunities within the territory.
- Organize sales visits and product demonstrations, showcasing technical expertise.
- Deliver expert advice and support on Point Source Audio products, with a focus on technical details and application-specific solutions.
- Supply accurate quotes and assist customers with purchase processes.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, particularly for miniature microphones and associated technologies.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and loyalty.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, engineering, and operations, to ensure customer needs are met.
- Represent Point Source Audio at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites as required.
- Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market trends.
- Attend trade exhibitions, conferences, and meetings to build brand presence and stay informed of market trends.
- Travel as needed to meet customers and attend events (estimated 25–40% travel).
Required Skills
- Proven sales or technical support experience in the audio industry, preferably with a focus on professional or performance audio products.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, audio technology, business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong understanding of audio technologies; experience with microphones is highly desirable.
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid technical background with a strong understanding of audio solutions and applications.
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining clear communication with the broader team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
