Point Source Audio is seeking a full-time Service Technician to join our team at our Petaluma, CA facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing, providing custom solutions to meet client needs, conducting repairs, and maintaining our test and measurement equipment.

Essential Functions
- Perform thorough testing of Point Source Audio products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Provide custom solution services to address unique client requirements, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in problem-solving.
- Conduct repairs on Point Source Audio products, diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Manage and maintain the company's test and measurement equipment, ensuring calibration and functionality for accurate testing and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually refine processes and procedures, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of testing, repairs, and service activities, ensuring accurate documentation for reference and analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements related to audio equipment and service methodologies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in electronics testing, repair, or a related field, preferably within the audio industry.
- Proficiency in using test and measurement equipment
- Knowledge of electronics and audio system signal flow
- Knowledge of office networked devices
- Knowledge of uses and applications of wireless microphone systems
- Experience with component level soldering
- Proficient with audio measurement tools that would include FFT
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and customer service.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system is a plus
