The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior director of marketing who is highly creative and capable of implementing several marketing initiatives for our growing company. The right candidate must have extensive experience in sales and marketing, thrive in a deadline-driven environment, enjoy a hands-on tactical approach, and be able to delegate and track multiple ongoing projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
We value individuals who are self-starters with strong discipline to execute strategic plans.
Work location
- Petaluma, California or remote for the right candidate
Essential Functions
- Develop, coordinate and execute demand generation plans, programs, and campaigns for new customer acquisition, and nurture the existing customer base.
- Lead digital strategy and customer acquisition efforts to drive the ROI.
- Optimize company outreach and visibility at conferences, trade shows, and major events.
- Drive and continuously improve results across multiple channels, including inbound SEO, paid media, and email marketing.
- Leverage data analytics tools to inform on marketing strategies and decision-making.
- Plan and execute corporate promotion campaigns for launch of new product lines and industry events.
- Responsible for producing content such blog posts and case studies for distribution on websites and social media channels.
- Ensure visual brand consistency and voice across all sales and marketing platforms.
- Control marketing and advertising budgets and allocate resources amongst projects.
- Build a cohesive and productive team of marketing members to achieve deliverables on time and on budget.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in digital marketing and/or marketing communications role in a B-to-B sales environment.
- Deep knowledge of digital marketing best practices (SEO, SEM, social media, content creation, etc.)
- Experience working with CRM systems like Salesforce.com, and other sales and marketing automation tools
- Excellent analytical, communications, and project management skills
- Must possess a keen eye for design.
- Experience in audio, communications, or multimedia related industries a plus.
